Mayor Emanuel and the City of Chicago Department of Public Health CDPH are committed to ensuring uninsured women have access to free, quality mammograms along with comprehensive follow-up care. InCDPH is joining efforts with the Cook County Health and Hospitals System to ensure more women have access to free, life-saving mammograms along with vital follow up care from diagnosis to treatment at Cook County Hospitals. The City will also continue to provide care at Roseland Community Hospital and three Mercy Hospital and Health Center locations through our ongoing collaboration to expand and improve breast health services in Chicago.

This is an individual who is specially trained and certified by the National Consortium of Breast Centers to fulfill their mission of supporting the "development, maintenance, advancement and improvement of the highest quality, patient focused Breast Centers, through education, certification and interdisciplinary communication among the communities it serves. Our program goals include improving patient satisfaction and enhancing access to early detection through patient education and imaging services in cooperation with the patients referring physician.
