Delete that entry, and it should solve the problem. Dell had me go to msconfig and diable all the start ups however then I loose the touchpad scroll function? The Dell forum also had others with apoint.xe same issue.

I was told to uninstall the touch pad driver which I did then go to the dell web aponit.exe and reinstall I did that also still get the same problem Apoint.ee solution was to go into the registry and delete everthing with ALPS not too sure if I should do this.
